Studies

Since it was founded, the Public Information Library planned for the continuous sociological observation of its audiences: three research officers – two sociologists and a library curator – make it possible to conduct these investigations. They also pilot research programmes, with a broader scope, destined for the French public reading network and for the book industry.

This section presents the works that have been carried out – applied studies on the Bpi audiences as well as research from its annual programmes.
